The transformation of a modest car wash at the intersection of 12th and Gilmore into Urban Grub is a testament to vision and collaboration. While Jay Pennington brought his operational acumen to the project, Billy Inman contributed a keen eye for aesthetics, combining their strengths to create something truly remarkable. Over 13 months, this small car wash was meticulously transformed into a versatile dining haven, complete with a restaurant, bar, patio, and beer garden, which officially opened its doors in April 2012. Urban Grub offers an intimate ambiance with its secluded cabanas and numerous fire pits, alongside the breezy charm of its beer garden, which includes a bar that blends indoor and outdoor settings. With its custom designs and attention to detail, every corner of Urban Grub promises a new and delightful discovery.
