Brett Young Sells Out His First Ryman Show

ACM Awards New Male Vocalist of the Year Brett Young is bringing Caliville swagger to Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium for his first sold-out show at the historic venue. On October 10, Young will take the stage to perform tunes from his debut Platinum-certified album, which has produced four Platinum No. 1  chart-toppers including his current single “Mercy.” Young recently performed the stark ballad on ABC’s CMA Fest special (8/8).

“It’s been crazy to watch the momentum build every time we play live,” Young said. “Last year I was lucky enough to headline a sold-out club tour and always dreamed of taking the next step to headline the Ryman. The fact that it has come so quickly is not lost on me and I am so thankful to the fans who have continued to support me. This will be such a special night.”

Young’s self-titled debut album on BMLG Records became an instant success upon its release in 2017, dominating the Top 20 on the Country Albums chart for 37 weeks. With each single earning PLATINUM or higher certification, his catalog has surpassed one billion in total streams. Young’s music videos have added steam to his successes with “In Case You Didn’t Know” eliciting 196 million views and “Mercy” spending six consecutive weeks atop Vevo’s Top Country chart.  Drawing in a devoted following with his unique voice that is “a gentle and seductive combination of silk and gravel” (All Access), Young has carved out his own lane in both performance delivery and songwriting.

Named as the only Country act on Billboard’s Top 10 New Artists, Young continues to impress the genre and beyond with nominations from the ACM, Billboard, Teen Choice, CMT and CMA Awards. Young is currently on the road for headline and festival dates and will soon join as direct support for Thomas Rhett’s LIFE CHANGES TOUR.
