Building on the success of the inaugural event, the Memphis Food and Wine Festival is bringing more chefs and wineries to the 2017 festival. More than 34 chefs and nearly 40 wineries have jumped on board to dazzle festival goers on October 14 from 6–10 pm in support of FedExFamilyHouse — a home-away-from home for out-of-town families with children receiving treatment at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.
With FedEx Corp. as the title sponsor, MFWF is bringing renowned chefs from around the world to Memphis to provide a tasting treat for festival-goers. Top Memphis chefs, including José Gutierrez (River Oaks), Wally Joe and Andrew Adams (Acre), Erling Jensen (Erling Jensen), and Andreas Kisler and Konrad Spitzbart (The Peabody), will showcase their culinary creativity alongside food superstars including Ken Frank of the Michelin-starred La Toque in Napa, Tory McPhail of Commander’s Palace in New Orleans, Nico Romo, the youngest MCF (MaÎtres Cuisiniers de France) from South Carolina, and a festival favorite, Deb Paquette from Etch and Etc. in Nashville.
To top off the entire impressive chef lineup, acclaimed French Chef Guy Savoy will be joining this years’ Memphis Food & Wine Festival. Guy Savoy has built a collection of five respected Paris restaurants; his crown jewel and flagship restaurant is Restaurant Guy Savoy, for which he holds three Michelin Stars and is consistently chosen by top international restaurant critics as one of the world’s greatest fine-dining establishments. Guy Savoy’s must-try second flagship is located in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas.
While enjoying the Live Garden space at the Memphis Botanic Garden, festival attendees will be able to sample more than 150 wines from nearly 40 vintners and wineries and take advantage of the expert guidance of certified sommeliers and wine makers.
The best of Memphis music will round out the experience. Ghost Town Blues Band and The Jack Rowell Royal Blues Band will provide the bluesy, soulful sound — that can only be found in Memphis — for an exciting evening under the stars.

The Memphis Food and Wine Festival (MFWF) is a 501(c)(3) organization founded to showcase Memphis’ culinary talent while raising funds for a selected non-profit.
