Broken Bow Records Restructures

BBR Music Group has announced a slate of new executive appointments, following this week’s restructuring of its label lineup with new assignments and responsibilities effective immediately.
 
Shelley Hargis, former VP of Promotion at Red Bow Records, has joined the Broken Bow Records team as new co-VP of Promotions alongside Lee Adams. Hargis’s responsibilities will now include overseeing promotion for the Midwest. Both Hargis and Adams report to Carson James, SVP Promotion BBR Music Group.
 
Kendra Whitehead and Caitlyn Gordon transition from Red Bow Records in their Director of Promotions positions to Wheelhouse Records with similar responsibilities. The two will report to newly appointed Wheelhouse VP of Promotions Ken Tucker who transitions from Apple Music July 23rd
 
Lexi Willson will move from her position as the Director of Promotion, West Coast at Wheelhouse Records to handle responsibilities in the Northeast for Stoney Creek Records. Willson now reports to Stoney Creek VP of Promotion Byron Kennedy.
 
Matt Holmberg, formerly the Promotion Coordinator for Wheelhouse Records and Red Bow Records, has been named Manager of Secondary Promotions.
 
Andrea Knipp has been named Promotion Coordinator for Wheelhouse Records, Broken Bow and Stoney Creek Records.

Broken Bow Records delivered Jason Aldean’s latest release Rearview Town, earning the first Country album to claim the top spot of the Billboard 200 in 2018, and has been atop the Billboard Top Country Albums chart for eight of the last 12 weeks since its release.Additional accolades include chart-topping hits from Dustin Lynch, whose multi-week Number One ‘Small Town Boy’ commanded the largest single-week audience of 2017 and created new fans and award nominations overseas in Australia for the singer, while continuing to build the profile of fan favorite Chase Rice and releasing the debut EP of newcomers Everette.
 
Stoney Creek Records’ multi-instrumentalist Lindsay Ell’s debut album The Project hit Number One on Nielsen Soundscan upon release with singles ‘Waiting on You’ going Top 5 on the Canadian Country chart and ‘Criminal’ ascending to Number One – making Ell the first Canadian female to claim the top spot in over a decade. Critically acclaimed Country newcomer Jimmie Allen released his debut EP with the lead single ‘Best Shot’ cracking Top 40 at Country Airplay and fast-rising. Upcoming highly anticipated releases include Allen’s debut album, set for release this fall, alongside the new full-length from Randy Houser, following the release of his brand new single ‘What Whiskey Does’ set to impact Country radio on July 29. Houser received rave reviews for his series of UK shows this past fall.
 
Wheelhouse Records chart-topper Granger Smith continues his success with his latest album When the Good Guys Win yielding the Top 15 hit ‘Happens Like That’ and recently introduced follow-up single ‘You’re in It.’  Breakout trio Runaway June has had hit back-to-back Country Airplay Top 40s with ‘Lipstick’ and ‘Wild West’, while the group has a new single on the way with ‘Buy My Own Drinks’ and their debut EP slated for later this year. New duo Walker McGuire released their acclaimed debut EP earlier this year. Performing close to 300 shows a year, the duo were a critics highlight following their debut performance in the UK during Country Music Week.
