What's happened to the weather in Nashville looks like you have had a lot of rain,
I will be there in 2 weeks, hope it has stopped raining by then.

And a tornado down in Murfreesboro (just south of Nashville). Don't worry, I'm sure it will be fine when you're in town. What are your plans?

Thanks for reply, was hoping the rain has stopped by now, will bring my umbrella,
Am staying at Hotel Hampton Inn Vanderbilt, have a seat booked at Opry sat night, and one for Ryman, Vince Gill, Tues night, trip to the Oprey Hotel sat, [hope the coach can make the pick-up at the hotel] as it is Marathon day,

and the rest I will see what happens, have a list of places to go, complete with route plans on how to get there. Will be going to the Wildhorse Saloon, for certain.

I am really looking forward to it now, shall be arriving Tuesday evening,
as you can guess by all this, I will be on my own,
bit scary but exciting, [as I am not a 'youngster'

Sounds like you have a great line-up of things to do and I'm sure you'll be in good hands - everyone is nice and friendly in Nashville. What brings you to Nashville? BTW - weather looks good for you - that is *after* Tuesday night!

I really hope and think that all country folk are friendly, they are in the UK,

I just love country music, and have never been before and if I don't do it now I never will,

you keep that good weather coming after Tuesday.
tanks for the reply, do you live in Nashville??

Outside of Nasvhille - but I try to get downtown when I can. Don't forget that the honkytonk bars downtown are open during the day and usually are playing live music. Always a good, nice and friendly crowd. Enjoy Nashville!
