Grammy Award winner Chris Tomlin will return to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena for the third consecutive year for ‘Good Friday Nashville’ on Friday, April 19, 2019. Best-Selling author Max Lucado returns as speaker and special guests are Tauren Wells and Pat Barrett. The concert will again include surprise appearances like vocal group Rascal Flatts who performed in 2018.  The concert will benefit Tennessee Kids Belong, a statewide nonprofit who help children and families in the foster care system.

“When my family moved to Nashville years ago I knew I wanted to do something to bring all the different streams of the churches together and I could think of no better weekend, no better night, than Good Friday and Easter weekend,” said Chris. “Something really unique about this night is that the event benefits Tennessee Kids Belong, an incredible organization that supports foster care and adoption around the state of Tennessee. So not only are we gathering together to worship God on Good Friday but the ripple effect that this has for so many kids in our backyard is incredible.”

The inaugural ‘Good Friday Nashville’ event in 2017 became the largest ticketed Christian concert in the venue’s history and last year’s show forced open additional seating due to high demand for tickets. Tomlin has committed to host the yearly concert indefinitely, currently holding Bridgestone Arena through 2024. To have a lasting impact on Nashville and the state of Tennessee each concert will give back to the community.

‘Good Friday Nashville’ is produced by Awakening Events who have enjoyed a 15-year touring relationship with Chris and offer their time and talents to this concert benefit as well. ‘Good Friday Nashville’ is presented by K-LOVE, Air1, The Fish and WAY-FM.
