Blake Whiten Makes His Grand Ole Opry Debut

Twenty-one-year-old South Carolina native Blake Whiten stepped into one of country music’s most sacred spaces on Saturday, Feb. 14, making his long-awaited debut at the Grand Ole Opry.

The Enchntmnt / Warner Records artist delivered a confident, crowd-winning set that included the unreleased “Bet On That,” his brand-new single “Break Me,” and the streaming favorite “Rollin’ Stone.” The sold-out Opry audience responded with thunderous applause as the rising star soaked in the milestone moment from the famed circle.

“This is making all my dreams come true, and I never would’ve guessed I’d be here one day,” Whiten shared from the stage during his debut.

The appearance caps a breakout stretch for the young artist, who recently released “Break Me,” a slow-burning, emotionally charged track that leans into heartbreak with unflinching honesty. Whiten has described the song as capturing that all-too-familiar feeling of knowing better — but still wanting someone to come back and wreck your world one more time.

Adding to an already banner week, Whiten was also named the latest “Highway Find” by SiriusXM’s The Highway — a notable nod that has previously helped spotlight emerging stars early in their careers.

Next up, Whiten will join Bailey Zimmerman’s Different Night Same Rodeo arena tour before heading out on Morgan Wallen’s Still The Problem stadium tour later this year, performing in massive venues including Michigan Stadium and Lincoln Financial Field.

Since signing with Warner Records last June, Whiten’s momentum has only intensified. His Six Mile EP helped introduce him to a national audience, anchored by “Rollin’ Stone,” which has amassed more than 94 million global streams and fueled his headlining Rollin’ Stone Tour. Recent releases like “Hard to Break” and “Night N’ Day” continue to showcase an artist blending youthful grit with arena-ready ambition.

With an Opry debut now under his belt and major tours ahead, Blake Whiten’s trajectory is clear: the next chapter is just getting started.
