Parmalee and Blanco Brown Team Up For “Just the Way”

Parmalee and BBR Music Group’s Blanco Brown, the mastermind behind the international smash single “The Git Up,” today released their new collaboration “Just the Way.” The feel good, from-the-heart track, with its melodic groove, blends Matt Thomas’ lead vocals with Blanco’s, in a new way, never heard before.

The two artists debuted the song onstage during halftime of Sunday Night Football on December 1 and have been teasing the song and what it means to them on their socials. “Just the Way,” written by Parmalee’s own, Matt Thomas as well as Kevin Bard and Nolan Sipe is upbeat song with a catchy melody that fits the content of the track. The new collaboration praises folks for being true to themselves and encourages self-acceptance with lyrics like, “I love you just the way God made you, girl, he don’t make mistakes. What you call your imperfections I call beautiful babe.”

Parmalee and Brown struck up a friendship several years ago and have since written together on several occasions. Knowing how dedicated Blanco is to spreading joy and purpose, Parmalee invited the “TrailerTrap” creator to join them on the song and share in spreading the message of self-love.
