Rising country singer-songwriter Jay Webb has officially signed a worldwide publishing deal with Sony Music Publishing, marking a major milestone in his fast-rising career. The news arrives alongside the announcement of his upcoming sophomore album, Where To Find Me, set for release on July 25.
A proud Alabama native, Webb’s gritty backstory and soulful sound have earned him a loyal grassroots following, with fans connecting to his no-frills storytelling and raw vocal delivery. From dirt roads to city lights, Webb’s music captures the highs and lows of real life, and it’s that authenticity that has caught the attention of Nashville power players.
“Jay Webb is a superstar in the making,” said Josh Van Valkenburg, EVP of A&R at Sony Music Publishing Nashville. “His authenticity resonates with an audience that’s fighting through the same struggles he so vulnerably sings about. He’ll also drop an anthem on you that’s perfect for a hot day on a pontoon boat. It’s an honor to be a part of his journey.”
Webb, who began writing and self-producing songs in his bedroom as a teen, says the deal is a dream realized. “Songwriting is where the magic happens,” Webb shares. “It’s always been my goal to write music that real people can relate to. To now have the chance to do that with Sony is a dream come true. Josh has believed in me since day one, and I’m grateful for that.”
The upcoming album Where To Find Me will showcase Webb’s evolution as both a songwriter and performer. His recent single, “One More Shot,” is a haunting, soul-baring ballad about the dark pull of addiction and regret. The track is already generating buzz.
The 10-track collection delivers more of the gritty, gospel-tinged country sound fans have come to love, and follows the momentum of earlier 2025 fan-favorites like “Summer In America” and “Love Me Tonight,” both of which landed spins on SiriusXM’s The Highway.
With over 415 million global streams and more than 2 million fans earned entirely through word-of-mouth and viral momentum, Jay Webb is definitely one to watch.
