“Nashville” Star Charles Esten To Host 6th Annual “Light The Night Walk”

On Friday, November 2, Charles Esten hosts his 6th annual Light the Night Walk in Nashville benefitting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Immediately following the two-mile walk at Nissan Stadium, Charles kicks off his 4th annual Light The Late Night Concert featuring artists including Chris Janson, Kellie Pickler, and duo Reverie Lane.

“My wife Patty and I walk in honor of our daughter, Addie, who survived leukemia when she was 2 1/2 years old. She has been healthy and cancer-free for over 16 beautiful years. Last summer, her Tennessee Soccer Club won the U18 National Championship. This year, she is playing Division I soccer in college. That is why I am honored to serve once again as the 2018 Light the Night Honorary Chair. We raise money for this amazing organization, so that others might have the chance at the cancer-free life that our Addie has been blessed with,” says Charles.

“Thanks to the generous support of donors across the country, we have raised over $984,933 in the past five years to help The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) accelerate cures for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma,” adds Charles. “We are looking forward to going over $1 million dollars this year and we are thrilled to know that that money will go to the life-saving research and patient family services that LLS provides.”

On Friday, October 25th, Charles released “Light The Night,” a brand-new anthemic single inspired by the Light the Night Walk, and brought to him by one of his team’s top fundraising walkers, songwriter Gene Rapisardi. Soon to be on every major platform, “Light The Night” is currently available on iTunes. All proceeds from the song go to The Leukemia &Lymphoma Society and the fight against blood cancer. Charles says he looks forward to playing “Light The Night” live at the upcoming concert.

Held simultaneously in more than 200 cities across the country, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk funds treatments that are saving the lives of patients today.

Supporters are encouraged to join Team Addie and the upcoming events by signing up to walk or by making a donation via: http://bit.ly/TeamAddie2018.
