Michael C. Hall Bringing Band To Nashville

If you’re a big Dexter fan and a good music fan you’re in for a treat. Michael C. Hall, star of Dexter, Six Feet Under Hedwig and the Angry Inch fronts a band called Princess Goes To The Butterfly Museum. The band is coming to Nashville on July 28th to play at Brooklyn Bowl as a part of their summer headline tour.

This tour follows the release of their 2021 debut album THANKS FOR COMING, which has earned some critical acclaim. The band is comprised of vocalist, lyricist, musician and actor Michael C. Hall, drummer Peter Yanowitz (The Wallflowers, Morningwood) and keyboardist Matt Katz-Bohen (Blondie). Individually the band has accumulated awards such as a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award and worked with artists such as Natalie Merchant, Yoko Ono, Andrew W.K., Allen Ginsberg, and Billy Bragg & Wilco, Blondie, Boy George, Cyndi Lauper and more.

The three band members met while all three were working on the Broadway play Hedwig. Their mutual love of music found all three band members writing most of the new album during the pandemic. Keyboardist Matt Katz-Bohen’s daughter came up with the unusual name for the band. Their sound somewhere between Bowie and The Beatles so check it out July 28th at Brooklyn Bowl.
