Keith Urban Unloads “Burden” With Foy Vance

Overnight, country star Keith Urban took to Instagram to sing the praises of Irish songwriter Foy Vance, before unveiling an acoustic video of the two performing Vance’s “Burden.” Watch Above. Last month, Urban made a surprising song choice for his performance at the 2019 ACM Awards, covering “Burden” minutes before releasing a Dave Cobb-produced studio version of the track. Since then, Urban has spoken highly of Vance in press interviews and on his social media. “Burden” originally appeared on Vance’s 2016 album The Wild Swan which was released through longtime friend/collaborator Ed Sheeran’s Gingerbread Man Records imprint via Elektra Vance has toured with Sheeran multiple times in addition to co-writing songs featured on the global superstar’s previous two albums. Well respected in music circles, Vance has also collaborated with Kacey Musgraves and Bonnie Raitt, among others.
