WATCH: Keb Mo’s “Merry Merry Christmas”

Following the release of the tongue-in-cheek tune and music video, “Christmas Is Annoying,” newly GRAMMY®-nominated Americana artist Keb’ Mo’ now embraces the holiday season in his new music video for “Merry Merry Christmas.” Watch (above) Keb’ spice things up at a small-town bar as he wins over the crowd with his infectious smile and unrivaled guitar dexterities.

Shot and directed by Andrew Rozario, Keb’ Mo’ brings new life to the Koko Taylor original as he crashes the local bar scene, creating the pop-up holiday bar of everyone’s dreams. Bringing all that is merry and bright, singing, “Twenty-fifth day of December, Happy as I can be, Santa Claus brought me a present, That the whole world can see!” Keb’s holiday spirit turns an accordion-playing open mic night into the ultimate holiday party, forcing even the most cynical holiday hearts to give into the contagious music. Keb’ Mo’ recruited the help of The Electric Cowgirl Burlesque group of Nashville to bring the party to the next level, transforming the locals into sparkling burlesque performers while Santa and his elves show off dancing moves we never knew they had.

Keb’ Mo’ was recently recognized by the Recording Academy, honoring him with a GRAMMY® nomination for Best Americana Album for his deeply thought-provoking album, Oklahoma. Following the prolific album, Keb’ celebrates the holidays with a collection of songs truly unique and soulful with the release of his first-ever holiday album, Moonlight, Mistletoe & You. The 10-track album, produced by Keb’ himself and recorded by Zach Allen at Stu Stu Studio in Franklin, TN, is now available.
Keb’ is currently on the Jingle Bell Jamboree tour featuring songs off Moonlight, Mistletoe & You, as well as surprises and fun for the entire family.
