Wedgewood Houston, or WeHo as we locals like to say, is an historic, artistic neighborhood in Nashville centrally located less than a few miles from Vanderbilt University, Belmont, The Gulch, Midtown, Music Row and South Broadway.

Wedgewood Houston is noted for its Civil War history, industrial buildings, factories and warehouses. It is home to Fort Negley – the largest inland stone fortification built by Union troops during the American Civil War. In 2002, The City of Nashville appropriated funds to restore and unravel the history of the fort and it officially reopened to the public in December 2004. The Art Walk is held the first Saturday of each month at 6pm and is free to the public.
