Tropical Storm Cindy made landfall early Thursday morning, sending rain across much of the southeast, including Middle Tennessee.
A Flash Flood Watch was issued as additional rainfall is expected through Saturday morning. The watch goes into effect 10 a.m. Friday morning and lasts until 7 a.m. Saturday.
Bands of rain are rotating around the storm, creating on-and-off downpours off. A slight break in the weather is expected Thursday night until Friday morning.
Overall rainfall totals from Thursday to Saturday will range from three to four inches with even higher amounts possible.
Since this is a tropical system, quick spin-up, isolated tornadoes are possible.
Drier weather will work in Saturday night. We should finally see the sun again with temperatures in the mid 80s, and Sunday looks dry. As things change we will keep you posted.
