Southern Rounds Live at Analog @ The Hutton, Nashville

Country Music’s top songwriters live from Analog at The Hutton Hotel! Come see the writers behind the songs of George Strait, Eric Church, Willie Nelson, Kenny Chesney and more! Featuring Buddy Cannon, Marla Cannon-Goodman, Rob Snyder and Dave Kennedy.

Doors at 6PM. Show starts at 7PM. This is a 21+ event.

Buddy Cannon is a 2 time Grammy award winning producer and currently works with Kenny Chesney and Willie Nelson. As a songwriter, his catalog includes the hits “Set ‘Em Up Joe”, “Give It Away”, “I’ve Come To Expect It From You” and “Dream Of Me”. He spent 6 years at Mercury/PolyGram Records where he was instrumental in signing Shania Twain, Sammy Kershaw and Billy Ray Cyrus. Cannon got his start in the business as a bass player for Bob Luman and Mel Tillis.

Marla Cannon-Goodman grew up in Kingston Springs, TN. She grew up surrounded by some of the greatest songwriters in the business, with one of them being her own father, Buddy Cannon. Marla was working as a nurse when her song “The Fool”, recorded by Lee Ann Womack, reached #1 on the country charts. She has had cuts by everyone from Sammy Kershaw, Billy Currington, Blake Shelton, Eric Church, Kenny Chesney, George Strait and many others. Marla has twice more reached #1 status with “Ten Rounds of Jose Cuervo” by Tracy Byrd, and “Cleaning This Gun” by Rodney Atkins. You can also find her name on the Willie Nelson / Merle Haggard duet album “Django And Jimmie”.

Rob Snyder is a Singer-Songwriter from West Chester, PA. Snyder’s appetite for music began at an early age and was encouraged by his family, as both of his grandfathers were musicians and writers. Snyder launched “Revival” at the Tin Roof on Demonbreun Street in Nashville in 2013. With the moniker “Hank and Jesus are watching”, “Revival” showcases some of country music’s most talented songwriters every Tuesday. Snyder has had songs recorded by Luke Combs’ 4 Week Billboard Number One Song “She Got The Best of Me” as well as “Six Feet Apart” and “Dear Today”, Ashland Craft, Will Hoge, The Davisson Brothers Band, & Adam Hood. You can find his debut album “The Way That I am” that was released in June of 2020 on all digital platforms.

Dave Kennedy is a storyteller above all else, and it’s easy to see why. His songs paint a cinematic portrait of America as his characters journey through love, heartbreak, humor, sin, redemption, revenge and perhaps even a few of the songwriter’s own footsteps along the way. Bringing these songs to life is a voice so soaring and powerful you can’t help but be swept away into his world by the end of the first chorus. He navigates his way through each story and each world with a dynamic presence of both strength and subtlety that appreciates both the peaks and the valleys, the highways and the backroads, the loves lost and lingering in his mind.

It’s for all these reasons that Dave has a reputation as one of Nashville’s most respected songwriters and artists, and why artists like Travis Tritt, Riley Green, Whiskey Myers, Drake White, Larry Fleet and others are eager to continue writing and performing with Dave Kennedy.
