Hall of Fame To Honor Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge

The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum will honor a Nashville institution, Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, with a new photographic exhibition, Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge: Thirty-Four Steps and Fifty Years. The exhibit, which opens April 1, will be presented in the Museum’s West Gallery and will run through September 30, 2011.

Country Music Hall of Fame Inductees Announced

The Country Music Hall of Fame inductees were announced this morning and in the Veterans Era Artist category it was Jean Shepard; in the non-performer Songwriter category, Bobby Braddock; and in the Modern Era Artist Category, Reba McEntire. The honorees will be recognized during the CMA Awards later this year.
