In 1992, a handful of songwriters and the staff at NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International) produced the first Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival. There is no where on earth where you can find such an amazing concentration of hit songwriters. Songs that shaped our lives, performed by the people who wrote the songs. The 22nd Annual Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival passes went on sale today, March 3, 2014 at 10am CST.
This year’s lineup includes some of the biggest names in songwriting, and fans will enjoy hearing many of their favorite songs as they were originally written. Numerous artist songwriters will hit stages at this year’s event including Rascal Flatts’ Joe Don Rooney, Vince Gill, Craig Campbell, Alabama’s Teddy Gentry and Jamie O’Neal. Songwriters Hall of Fame members Mac Davis and Sonny Curtis join new artists Angie Johnson, Jaida Dreyer, Paul Sikes, Leah Turner, Erin Enderlin and others to give a glimpse into the history and the future of songwriting, and hit pop songwriter and former “American Idol” judge Kara DioGuardi returns this year. The popular Fast Access Passes, which allow patrons to bypass the cover charge at the door, are on sale now by clicking here. Quantities are limited and always sell out quickly. Pass holders are also allowed advance seating (room permitting) over those purchasing tickets at the door.
The shows are performed at venues all over Music city and festival attendees without passes will take their places in the Cash Line at each venue. That line will be admitted into the venue as space permits after Fast Access Pass holders are admitted. Without a Fast Access Pass, festival admission is on a show-by-show, cash-at-the-door basis. Fast Access Pass holders will take their places in the Fast Access Line at each venue on a first-come, first-served basis. Beginning 30 minutes prior to show time, pass holders will be admitted into the venue first (except at the Bluebird Café shows, where Reservation holders will be admitted first). So your best bet is to buy a Fast Pass.
