George Strait may be getting on his tour bus and hitting the road for the last time when his Cowboy Rides Away Tour kicks off January 18th in Lubbock, Texas, but he’s not giving up his music career. He’s still going to try and make a record every year. In fact, he’s feeling pretty anxious about laying down some tracks for his next album. “I’m feeling a little antsy about getting back in the studio. I’ve got some great material already,” says King George. “I’m working on some songs and some original stuff too. I’ve been doing a little bit of writing, but I need to do a little more. In fact, he’s set aside a little time to pen some tunes with noted tunesmith Dean Dillon (“The Chair,” “Ocean Front Property,” “It’s a Little Too Late”) and George’s son, Bubba.
George has hit the charts with his latest single, “Give It All We Got Tonight.”
