You may have seen The Roys around town last week taking part in the IBMA festivities but if you missed them, they’ll be bringing their signature harmonies, progressive instrumental attitude and compelling new music to The Station Inn on October 11. The full-set performance is their first in Music City since the duo’s sophomore Rural Rhythm Records’ EP, NEW DAY DAWNING, hit store shelves on August 28.
As a prelude to The Station Inn show, the siblings will visit with 650 AM WSM’s Mike Terry, live on the air October 11 at 4 p.m. A little drive-time entertainment could be in the offering, as THE ROYS rarely leave home without their instruments.
“We cannot wait to see our hometown fans again at The Station Inn and Ernest Tubb Record Shop,” states Elaine Roy. “The Station Inn is a great-feeling room with a lot of energy, and we’re excited to host the Midnight Jamboree,” adds Lee.
The siblings host the world-famous Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree on October 13. The live broadcast kicks off at 12:00 Midnight and streams on http://www.wsmonline.com.
