Trϋ Protection announced today that the company has partnered with country music singer and Black River recording artist Kellie Pickler to promote a limited edition iPhone case benefitting the American Cancer Society and their “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Campaign” in the fight against breast cancer. The case sells for $29.95, with $20 from each sale to be donated to the American Cancer Society. iPhone 4 cases are on-sale now, and iPhone 5 cases can be pre-ordered, at http://www.truprotection.com/. October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, making this a perfect time for the collaboration. This limited edition case will be on sale from now until the end of 2012.

“Trϋ Protection is proud to partner with Kellie Pickler and offer this iPhone custom case for sale in order to donate money to the American Cancer Society,” said Keiko Napier, CEO, Trϋ Protection. “I am in awe of Kellie’s bold and courageous act of solidarity and support for her friend Summer, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I lost my father to cancer, and we currently have a member of our staff, Lindsey Adams, battling lymphoma. Unfortunately, I think everyone’s lives have been affected by cancer. We are thrilled to partner with Kellie and do our part to create awareness and help put an end to this terrible disease.”

“Everybody has a loved one that’s been affected by cancer, and I am happy to do what I can to help raise awareness and funds to fight this disease,” said Pickler. “When Trϋ Protection approached me with the opportunity to design a special cell phone case that would benefit a cause I whole-heartedly support how could I not. Plus, I love that Trϋ’s product is American made using recycled materials.”

Pickler’s childhood friend, Summer Holt Miller, was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. The singer, who shaved her head in support of the woman she calls her sister, hopes to spread the message that early detection increases the chances of surviving the disease.

The custom case design was created by Nashville-based artist Jason Parish, based on input from Pickler and Trϋ Protection. As always, the Trϋ Protection cases are eco-friendly, made of 100% post consumer recycled plastics. The cases are made in the USA at Chatsworth, Calif., and printed in house by Trϋ Protection at the Glendale warehouse.
