Toby Keith Takes Two In British Country Music Awards

The British Country Music Awards named Toby Keith the International Act of the Year and bestowed International Album of the Year honors on his current album Clancy’s Tavern earlier this month. It’s the UK’s only event of its kind, the sold-out BCM Awards at Heathrow’s Concorde Club “honor those that have given to the cause of British Country Music.” Keith accepted his awards via video.

Now his focus turns to his new album, Hope On The Rocks and its fast-rising lead single “I Like Girls That Drink Beer.”

Congratulations to Toby Keith! I totally agree with the British on both awards. Clancy’s Tavern is a fantastic cd! There were songs on that album that deserved to be released but sadly weren’t, such as the title song and “I Need to Hear a Country Song” to name two.
