Phil Vassar heads to Knoxville, Tennessee this week for a very special concert benefitting one of his favorite organizations, the Second Harvest Food Bank. WIVK-FM 107.7 is hosting the show at the popular Cotton Eyed Joe venue this Wednesday, September 26, 2012, and new A&M/Octone duo Miss Willie Brown will open. The concert is free, but fans are asked to bring three cans of food or a donation to Second Harvest for admission.

Phil and his band played for over 1000 U.S. Marines and their families at “A Concert That Cares” presented by KKGO Go Country 105 and Operation Gratitude at Camp Pendleton, California last week. The event was held in the Pacific Views Events Center and was also attended by many wounded warriors and the Marine’s top brass. He followed the show with dates in Wisconsin and Ohio before heading back to Nashville to entertain 65,000+ fans at the Tennessee Titans/Detroit Lions NFL game at LP Field.

Following the benefit concert in Knoxville, Phil has upcoming dates in Mississippi, Virginia, New Jersey and more. For tour updates, news, music and more, visit www.PhilVassar.com.
