When Tim McGraw signed his new record deal with Big Machine Records, he wanted to go back to the place where all of his Nashville dreams began, the Greyhound bus station. Tim says although the station has moved since he first arrived in Nashville on a bus back in 1989, “the symbolism was still there for me. I was a wide-eyed kid from Start, Louisi-ana who didn’t have a clue and in many ways I still feel like I‟m a wide-eyed kid from Start, Louisiana who doesn’t have a clue. I still feel like I’m just starting to figure myself out.” Tim has built a hugely suc-cessful career over the last 20 years, but in some ways he feels like he’s just getting started. “You know it’s sort of like my whole ca-reer I’ve been sort of chipping away at this stone,” he says, “and I’m finally starting to see a form that I think I can really hone in on.”
