Rascal Flatts Has A Lot Of Mouths To Feed

Rascal Flatts just kicked off their Changed Tour this past weekend and they’re excited about having Little Big Town, Eli Young Band and Edens Edge on the road with them. One special part of the nightly show is a huge group version of Grand Funk Railroad’s “American Band.” Gary explains, “We went to Jay’s house and we actually recorded [it]. We brought all three of the bands in and they re all splittin’ verses.” But the guys admit there is one drawback to being on a tour with all bands. “There’s a lot of voices,” says Gary and he jokes, “We thought it was a great idea in the beginning until we started looking at our catering bill and we thought, “You know what, those are bands, there’s a lot of folks to go along with that.” Joe Don agrees, “Gonna be a lot of hungry people.” This weekend the Changed Tour will head to Bristow and Virginia Beach, VA.
