Rascal Flatts Celebrates ‘Banjo’ With Songwriters

ASCAP and BMI co-hosted a #1 Party for recent chart-topper “Banjo,” recorded by Rascal Flatts, on Monday, June 11th, 2012 at Puckett’s in downtown Nashville. ASCAP songwriter Neil Thrasher was honored alongside BMI co-writers Tony Martin and Wendell Mobley, and publishers BMG Chrysalis, peermusic, Sony/ATV Tree Publishing, Warner-Tamerlane Publishing and record label Big Machine were all on hand to fete the group. Producer Dann Huff was also celebrated at the party, with “Banjo” heralding Huff’s 32nd #1 song.
