Edwin McCain Packs 3rd and Lindsley

If you didn’t make to the Edwin McCain show last night at 3rd and Lindsley, hopefully you caught it live on Lightning 100. The South Carolina native performed a great show to a packed house with a tight five-piece band in support of his 10th album, Mercy Bound. The new project is McCain’s debut for 429 Records and is the result of McCain’s collaboration with fellow singer/songwriter Maia Sharp that began in 2004 with their beautiful duet “Say Anything.” They decided to make Mercy Bound their first full-album collaboration. Sharp has worked with everyone from the Dixie Chicks to Art Garfunkel, and also has an eerie habit of being able to get deep inside his head according to McCain.
