On Saturday night, in his hometown of Vero Beach, FL, in front of 5,500 family, friends and fans, Jake Owen proposed to his girlfriend Lacey Buchanan during the performance of his hit song “Don’t Think I Can’t Love You.”

“Lacey is the answer to all of my prayers,” says Jake. “She is an amazing person and I’m the luckiest guy in the world.”

“When I was on stage, it just hit me how many of our family members (Lacey is also a Florida native) and friends were at the show,” reflects Jake. “So, I thought sharing that moment would mean a lot to everyone.”

As the requests to talk to Jake about his engagement are rolling in, his response is, “I’ll be happy to talk to everyone after this week passes. Right now, I’m focusing on what is most important and that is spending some quality time with Lacey and our families.”

Jake was in Vero Beach, FL, over the weekend performing at his annual concert to give back to his hometown community.
