Taylor Swift's Global Impact

Taylor Swift is truly sharing her music with the world as her Speak Now global promotional campaign continued with recent visits to the UK and Japan. Taylor appeared on BBC Radio 1′s Teen Awards, was featured in Glamour UK and she landed in Japan to learn her single “Mine” had jumped from #7 to #1 on the country’s airplay tally – a remarkable accomplishment given the dominance of native artists. During her visit to Japan, Swift performed on the popular morning show Zoom In Super! where 12 million viewers hear her song “Mine” daily as the show’s theme song. Taylor was also featured on the cover of three of the nation’s key magazines: InRock, Celeb and Gisele.

Elsewhere around the world, Swift is also continuing to impact. In Mexico, she graces the cover of Seventeen… In New Zealand, it’s the December cover of Crème magazine, one of the nation’s most popular publications. In the Asia Pacific region, Taylor is December’s MTV Asia Featured Artist and Channel V INTL. Following Swift’s recent visit to Italy, fans posted both a video diary of her time in the country as well as a montage of them buying her new album.

Taylor Swift, don’t feel too depressed. I understand, based on what a number of magazines are stating, that your parents just split! Keep on writing music. There are millions of men out there who would love to go out with you! You’re a real sweetie! Keep your hopes and dreams up and do what you enjoy. Hopefully things will get better for you!
