Randy Travis and his wife, Elizabeth Travis – who also is his manager – are now divorced. The Travis family spokeswoman, Maureen O’Connor, confirmed on Friday that the divorce was final, according to The New York Post online. Randy filed a petition to dissolve the marriage in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Thursday; it calls for an equal split of assets, and says that a “state of incompatibility exists between the parties.” The former couple has a home in the Santa Fe area. While Randy and Elizabeth are no longer married, an earlier statement said that she would continue to manage Randy’s career. The statement also said that the couple would have no further comment and asked for “respect for their privacy during this time.” Their personal and business relationship has spanned 34 years; he met her when he won a talent contest as a teenager in a nightclub that she owned in Charlotte, North Carolina. Randy and Elizabeth married in 1991. Neither could be reached for comment.

I’m very sorry to hear this news… I know Randy had a Christian ministry and had an excellent church he attended.
I pray for both Randy and Lib…. Please media give this couple their privacy…Randy is so talented and both deserve the best…
I’m glad to hear this. Libby was a gold digger and was too old for this nice young man at the time anyway. I think she was mentally deranged.
