When I talked to Blake Shelton at his place in Oklahoma a few years ago, he told me one of the things he really loves about his now fiancee, Miranda Lambert, is that she has this very soft, girly side that he gets to see when she’s at home away from the crowds and the tough girl image many people have of her because of her crossed pistol tattoo and some of her more don’t-mess-with-me hits like “Kerosene” and “Gunpowder and Lead.” He said, “she likes pink and a lot of the girly things most people wouldn’t expect her to like. She’s definitely got a softer side.” And I can confirm that Miranda also knows how to mix both her bad-girl reputation and her seldom seen feminine side. For example, during our interview before she released her current smash CD, Revolution, she told me she’d recently made a purchase of a pink . . . revolver. Fortunately, she didn’t need to use it Saturday night when some fans at her Waynesville, Mo., concert got into a fight in the audience during her show. But she did have to stop in the middle of a song to get the combatants to stop beating each other. As she tweeted later that night, “Tonight some idiots got in a fight on the front row at my show. I had to stop and call them out.” She added, “Funny part… it was during ‘Only Prettier.’”—David Scarlett

This article has been greatly exaggerated as there was no physical contact between these two guys. They were not “beating each other” as is reported. One of them was trying to pick a fight with the other and wouldn’t leave him alone. The MP’s made the one being messed with leave instead of the one who was stirring up the trouble.
