The MTV Video Music Award’s new host, Chelsea Handler, is promising fireworks when she hosts the September 12 show, and she is sure hoping that Taylor Swift will help out a bit. Handler told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show last Thursday that she hoped to reunite two strange bedfellows: Kanye West and Taylor. Chelsea said, “I’d like to get them together. We’ve never really seen them together since then. They were supposed to be together on SNL, but then that didn’t end up happening. We’ll try to think of something clever to do with them, because that would be really fun.” It was last year when West made his infamous interruption of Swift’s big acceptance speech, which was talked about for quite some time after the fact.
