Kix Brooks Says the Brooks & Dunn—The Last Rodeo tribute by Fellow Nashville Stars and Others is ‘Very Humbling’

There’s not much Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn of Brooks & Dunn haven’t experienced  and achieved during their 20 years as a country music duo. Among their many other honors, Brooks & Dunn have a total of 27 ACM Awards—more than any other artist in history—including three Entertainer of the Year awards and, most recently, a Top Vocal Duo award they received during the ACM Awards in April. But there’s one more award to be presented. During Sunday night’s ACM Presents: Brooks & Dunn—The Last Rodeo star-studded television tribute (airing at 8 p.m. ET on CBS), Kix and Ronnie will receive the Academy’s Milestone Award in recognition of their incredible 20-year career. Artists performing on the special include Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Faith Hill, Jennifer Hudson, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Darius Rucker, George Strait, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban. Presenters are Dr. Maya Angelou, Miranda Cosgrove and Matthew McConaughey.
