Miranda Lambert can definitely be a girly girl when she wants to be, but when she stopped her performance of Rod Stewart’s “Stay With Me” during a recent Michigan concert and told a couple of audience women involved in a catfight, “Don’t make me come down there now!” you can bet they knew they didn’t want to mess with her. Miranda’s been playing for rowdy crowds since she was a Texas teenager, and she wasn’t about to let a couple of belligerent audience members detract from the show for anyone else. As Miranda leaned over the edge of the stage and yelled, “Hey girls. Girls! Hey! Are y’all here to listen to music or get in each others’ faces? We came here to have fun,” the rest of the crowd erupted into applause. —David Scarlett
