Real Estate Market Update: The city of Hermitage
is located within Davidson County adjacent to, and named in
honor of, The Hermitage, home of Andrew Jackson, seventh President
of the United States. Hermitage is conveniently located about
15 miles east of downtown Nashville and has very affordable
homes and condos ranging from $100K to over $400K.
There's a Music City Star Commuter Rail station located in
Hermitage and the city is close to I-40 and Highway 70 - all
which lead to downtown Nashville. Hermitage is home to the
prominent 19th century Ravenwood Country Club which overlooks
the Stones River. Hermitage benefited greatly from the impoundment
of the Stones River by the J. Percy Priest Dam which now provides
a great deal of recreation opportunities, particularly in
the summer months, and has contributed greatly to the desirability
and value of the Hermitage Real Estate.
