Front License Plates

Here in the not so great state of Texas, state laws say you must have a front license plate on your car. Is it the same in Tenn? I run the risk of not having one on either car, I am just hoping that I do not have to do the same when I move to Nashville.

The state of Tennessee does NOT require cars to have a front license plate.
