Place to stay for two months.

Hi
I will be travelling to Nashville for two month's voluntary internship at Vanderbilt University. Would anybody suggest to me a place to stay for two months, cheap and easy to commute to the University, preferably in walking distance to the university. I would be happy to stay as paying guest or would like to share a room or studio, but have to accomodate it at cheap cost. Kate, Would you suggest and guide me.
