Cheap place to stay near Belmont University

Hey Ya'll, I will be in town for a few weeks in May this year. My girlfriend is going to school at Belmont there and I'm flying over from Germany for a visit. The school however has policies about co-ed over night stays. The last time I was there i stayed in a room that a guy rented out to me for pretty cheap, only thing was it was 20 minutes North out of town.
I was wondering if anyone knew of a dirt cheap place that i could stay at for my time there. I just need someplace to lay down my sleeping bag and lay out my suitcase. Heck I even own a tent, I just would need a place to put it you know I'm in the military so I've slept in much worse conditions. Right now I'm contimplating renting out a minivan or small SUV with fold down back seats. Any helpful info you could provide to me would be greatly appreciated.

Try the Comfort Inn and Suites (615) 221-5001 - but you'll need to hitch a ride to campus - it's about between 10 & 15 minutes away. Also, try Comfort Inn West Nashville (615) 356-0888. You can always ask for a "Belmont Rate". Good luck!

Yea, would someone give us the scoop on the Music City Hostel!! I think it's the only hostel in Nashville and I'd like some feedback on the place. Been to the website and it actually looks like it could be pretty cool....
