Hotel ????

Have found this hotel, can someone tell me if it is OK??
Best Western Suites, 201 Music City Circle,

is it alright for me with no car??
is it likely to be noisy?
and is it near most things?

it is very reasonable priced and am a bit worried it might be cheap and not very good.

Downtown Nashville is about about a mile away. You can cab it if you want for about $7 or $8 each way. I doubt it will be noisey since you're not right downtown on Broadway or 2nd Ave (heart of action). I apologize though - I haven't stayed here before, but I have heard both really good and some negative reviews.

Thanks for that information, would like another opinion because this Best Western Suite is not on the Hotel list, the others are but they say they are full the date I want.

I hate to disagree with the poster above, but Music City Circle is certainly more than a mile from downtown. More like 8 or 10 miles. The area around there and the motel itself should be all right, although I've never stayed there (or know anyone who has).

That area would be near the Opry and Opry Mills and some other attractions. You would need to take a bus or cab to downtown, which is where most of the daytime attractions are.

alleycat - yes, you are certainly correct. It appears this above post was referring to the Best Western Music Row on Division Street and NOT the BW Suites near Opryland - and no you can't walk! This Best Western does offer a shuttle service to downtown (run by Jerry). He starts at 11am and ends at 1am on weekdays (Mon-Thurs) and on weekends (Fri-Sun) from 11am until 2am. The cost is $10 roundtrip and you'll have his number so you can also call him and let him know when you're ready to head back to the hotel. If you decide to use a cab - it'll run about $25 - one way!

Thanks for that Jojo, had a look at the Best Western in Division St, and for the dates I want it says it is full, I want next April, do you think that could be right??
will still consider the other one, not unless I can find another one in Divison St or near there.
