I currently live in Wisconsin and am seriously considering moving to Nashville. I am 40 and have been working as a professional musician since I was 18. I do jingle work, vocal and sax, I perform, write, transcribe, etc.... I am looking primarily to get some studio work in Nashville. My family, (wife and 7 yr old) and I are taking a vacation to Nashville in Feb or March.

Everyone I've talked to says I need to just move down there and get to know people. I have a demo but how do I get it heard? It's difficult to convince my wife to move when I have no leads on work..

Any suggestions??
