    Default Wyndham - Union Station?

Are you referring to the Union Station Wyndham Historic Hotel? I have never stayed there, but it's a beautiful hotel and usually gets pretty great feedback. It's right by I-24, but on Broadway and is within walking distance to downtown.

If you're referring to Wyndham Vacation Resort on McGavock Pike - sorry, but I don't know much about this one. I do know however that it's 10-15 minutes from downtown and they offer 'van trips'. Not sure about cost and times; you'd have to contact them regarding specifics.

Default Wyndham Resort / McGavock Pike

    Cathy -

This resort usually has a cook-out every 4th of July. Also, they may offer shuttle service to downtown - Riverfront Park which is 'the spot' for an all day celebration of the 4th of July. It's about a 15-20 minute drive. Also, you'll be very close to the Opry Mills Mall - in the event shopping is on your list, you find plenty of stores to keep you busy all day. You're also close to Opryland - definitely worth a visit - it's a very cool place.

Enjoy your visit to Nashville and have a great 4th of July!
