    Default Exercise in Nashville

    hI ..
I am visiting Nashville for the Syposium and was wondering where I can find a place to go to for swimming , workouts..available to public for a small fee.

If anyone can help me ..I would really appreicate it..

    Thank you,,
    Cathy

    Dear Cathy,

You may want to look into the YMCA Downtown location - which is just a few blocks from the Gaylord Entertainment Center. The address is: 1000 Church Street, Nashville, TN 37203. They offer an indoor swimming pool, aerobic classes, free weights, cardio, indoor track, basketball court, racketball courts, etc. Just about everything! They're open Mon - Fri from 5am until 9pm, Saturdays from 7am - 5pm and on Sundays from 1pm until 5pm. A one day pass is $15 and a one week pass is $35. Give them a call at 615-254-0631 and ask for Alisa. If she's not available, you can also get assistance from the membership or front desk.

    Best regards,

Sher - Who told you that a Canadian can't obtain US citizenship? Can you at least come here on a work visa? I don't know much about this, but I'm curious as to what you were told and why....

    Mickey:

I went to the us consulate here and they said i can not go into the states to live as a canadian citizen also they said as a musician you would need international status recognition to go under p6 on the temporary work visa.
If you find out more let me know.
