Default Needing some advice from those who have been around the Nashville music scene

    Hello Nashvilleions!

I have been reading the posts on this site and would like to ask for a few opinions on whether or not is makes sence for me to relocate to the Nashville area.

I am a 28 year old Christian musician, Singer/song-writer/guitarist from central Iowa. I have played with many musicians in the area and made a lot of great freinds doing so, but finding band members in central Iowa that like the same style of music, have the same values and beliefs, are dependible, good at what they do and really want to play, is VERY hard. My wife and I kick around the thought of moving to an area that has more to offer, musically speaking. I also, have to provide for my wife and two little boys. I have a good "job" in Iowa, but kind of feel like if I don't try at music then I will have always wondered... Am I think about this the wrong way? Any advice you music veterans could provide?

I have a newly released solo album, if anyone is interested in what style I am going for, check it out here www.mixposure.com/chad-harl "The Way" is more of the sound I would like to have in a band.

    Thanks for you time,

    Chad

    Hey Chad,
If you got a good job there then you can get a good job here. Bring your family here for a vacation, see how they like it. We love it here and I think you will too.
There's an awesome Christian music scene here. Life is short, GO FOR IT!
