Btw, Bergström is a Swedish surname. Do you have Swedish ancestry?

One of the most fun things to do in Nashville is to take in a Nashville Kats game - the 2007 Arena Football season begins March 1 with the Kats hosting the Columbus Destroyers at the GEC.

How about a nightclub? No one replied to my other thread about that. Not into sports...

    Gormur -

How about downtown? There's plenty - have you not found anything you like?

BTW - Yes, Bergstrom is Swedish - it's on my husband's side.

I went to a disco and it was almost empty on a Saturday night. It was 4 floors of music. I can't remember the name, but it was on Printer's Alley. I asked the bartenders if there was another club around, and they didn't know of any, apparently. I saw very few young people downtown. Mostly families and retirees. Meh...

    Arrow Recording Studios in Nashville

    Suggestions:

Ryman Auditorium has a recording booth which is open Thursday thru Sunday from 9am until 4pm. Cost is $15 for a solo singer and $25 for a duet. Keep in mind that you will have to purchase a museum tour ticket since the recording studio is in the museum, you can't sing your own songs and you can't bring your own instruments. More info: (615) 889-3060 or go to Ryman.com and look to the left for "Make a Record at the Ryman".

Another choice: Music City Recording Studio at the Opry Mills Mall. You can reach them at (615)514-0117.

If you're looking for something more serious - here's a list of recording studios in Nashville: http://www.nashville.com/services/re...ios/index.html

When my best friend & I were in Nashville for the week-end 9 yrs ago.
    We saw:
    Ryman Auditorium
    Grand Ole Opry
We went on the General Jackson
    Opryland Hotel
    The Hermitage (Andrew Jackson's place)
    Downtown Nashville
Country Music Hall of Fame (before they moved into the other building).

It was an interesting trip. I hope I'll get to go to Nashville again. My best
friend died 3 yrs ago. If she would've still been in good health & living, she
probably would like to go to Nashville again too.
