Red face Irish college Graduate move to Nashville?

Hi I am a 24 year old Dublin girl about to graduate from Trinity college Dublin. Ive always had a passion for country music with Parton and Cash being my favorite artists. I have a real itch to move there, 4 fun and adventure now that the next stage of my life is about to begin. I would move there for a number of months or more if Im happy. I love horseriding and singing and would like to do both while Im there, perhaps at open mic nights or competitions. Id be keen to volunteer for charities or community oraganisations to as I think it would be a great way to get to know the place and people. Does anyone have any advice about persuit of any of the above? Good reasonably priced places to rent? Sing? Ride? Volunteer and have fun?
All tips would be greatly appreciated!

Hoping to make some great dreams and memories;)

    Lightbulb Ireland to Nashville

First thing you would have to research is whether you meet all the requirements for visiting the USA visa-free under the Visa Waiver Program. Ireland is a participating country. You would need to find out if you're able to work during your time here (if you need to or are planning on it). If you can clear all of the requirements, then you have just under 3 months before you would have to return or if you get a job that will sponsor your visa which would allow you to stay longer. Keep in mind, this is what I know off hand, certainly not in expert in this area, but know you'll have know all the above first.

Horseback riding, open mic, volunteering for charities, certainly you can do all of the above. Living in downtown Nashville by yourself can get expensive. You may want to contact schools around or near Nashville and see if they can point you in the direction of roommates, or renting out a room in a residential home for a short period of time. Try Vanderbilt University, Belmont University, Lipscomb University, Tennessee State or event MTSU (about 30 minutes sound of Nashville)

    Good luck!
