Default Relocating to Nashville from Jacksonville

    Hello,
I found out I am being transferred with my job from Jacksonville, FL to Nashville. I will be working in the downtown Nashville office and am hoping I someone out there can give me some insight into some areas around town. First off, my husband and I have a 3 year old so a great school district is key. We'd also like to have a house with about 2000 sq ft (either renting or buying, have not decided on that yet) with payments $2000/month max! My husband would really like to find a house with some property as opposed to a neighborhood where all of the houses are built on top of eachother. The research I've done points to Williamson County as being the best school district, but I'm not sure which town to concentrate my search efforts in. I would ideally like to have a commute of 30 minutes (no more than 45). Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks so much!

Default Nashville / Schools / Relocating....

Williamson County is a great area and yes, schools are definitely known to be good. It's close to Nashville and has really nice areas. Good schools, shopping, restaurants, etc. Other areas you may want to look into if finding what you want to rent in this area is too expensive - all within an hour's drive from Nashville: Murfreesboro, Nolenville, Springhill, Thompson Station, Hendersonville, Gallatin.
