I will be visiting Nashville for my birthday this year and would love ideas on where to stay...I'd like some place close to all the nightlife and somewhere near the sights to see...

Any thoughts?

The most affordable place to stay in downtown Nashville is the Holiday Inn Express on Broadway. It's close enough to walk downtown. Also try the Best Western on Union Street.
