apartments near bike trails

I am a young retiree ( female, early 50's) and want to downsize into an apartment. Currently I live in another city. Would like to live near recreation areas, especially bike trails. Anyone know of any apartments that are in safe areas, and convenient to bike trails? Would prefer to stay in 8-1100 rental range for 2 bedrooms. Thanks in advance for your comments!
