Try Ichiban (means "#1" in Japanese) - it's located at: 109 2nd Ave. N
Nashville, TN 37201. (615) 244-7900. It has one of the most complete and authentic Japanese menus and they also have a wide a selection of non-sushi dishes. They have fake dishes of Japanese food in a window in front of the restaurant so you can get an idea of what the food looks like - it's just like they do all over Japan. Great place!
