Default Young Couple Moving to Nashville

My wife and I will soon be relocating to Nashville. We are looking to buy a house in the $300,000 range. We are looking for any area with many people in their late 20's to early 30's. We would also like an area that would be great for walking and dog friendly.

Let me know what you guys think.

    Thanks

Hello...there are so many different area that would fit your lifestyle. They are several areas in Brentwood and Franklin that would fit but it would be more family oriented as these two areas have the most desirable school zones.

If kids aren't in the future then there are several different pockets in Nashville that you may enjoy. Such as Hillsborough Village area or East Nashville.

    Default Moving to Nashville

    Hello,

I just saw your post and I am sure yall are here by now, but the first area that comes to my mind is Sylvan Park. It is a very young neighborhood with people always walking/running. There are multiple parks around the area. I know a lot of people in your age range that have moved there recently and love it! If you are not working with a REALTOR and are still looking please give me a call and I would love to help yall in your search!

Default Moving to the Nashville Area

Many good suggestions above; I am partial to Williamson County, Brentwood and Franklin, just minutes south of Nashville. The price range you indicated bring to mind a couple of great neighborhoods in northern Williamson County. One is Fieldstone Farms and another is Cottonwood. There are also some great neighborhoods in the Cool Springs area which may be affordable. Most neighborhoods are "dog friendly" (with leash laws) but some are more "walkable" than others. Some have side walks while others just have walkable streets.

I think if you watch the video on this link you'll see how useful the real estate site is , as there are llinks to schools, neighborhood facilities, crime stats, walk scores, google street view, satellite views.....all designed to be able to help you get a feel for whats available in the neighborhood.

Click here to see the site features video to see what the site has to offer: http://www.nashvillesmls.com/site-features.php

    Thx

    Gary
